Remember in grade school when teachers got on your case about READING directions? i was looking at the internship page and just saw THIS sentence:
"Television Academy Foundation internships are designed to give qualified full-time students (undergraduate and graduate) pursuing degrees at colleges and universities in the United States..."
kids, i am a part time student. with a full time job. it's official, i must quit my job.
like i ever needed a reason to do it before.
a part of me hopes they'll consider me anyways. but not likely. DAMNIT. i was so excited i didnt read ALL the directions. well, there ya go.
doesn't mean i can't write. or will stop writing. i'm thinking about creating my own TV pilot and sending it to script agencies. i have the complete list of them and all the HOW TO books. i am READY to go.

I've been reading and researching, and I'm pretty excited about the possibility to doing this. like ACTUALLY doing this. of course my mantra in my head is "not until you finish school"
who needs a masters when you can write amazing scripts?
"not until you finish school"
but thats so long away. what if i lose the tenacity to move to LA and try this?
"not until you finish school"
damn you mind. why can't that nagging thought get out!?!??!
but at least some things are going well here. the head coach at Zionsville High School is interested in me coaching their freshman team. i was very flattered. i'm not sure if i could do it, it's much more of a committment and i have what else...SCHOOL twice a week. and they shoud practice every day.
besides this blog, i haven't written much new material. i find myself too tired to at the end of the day. but this weekend i just have games to coach and i'm gonna go some major relaxing and hopefully some writing.
my life is complete now that How I Met Your Mother, One Tree Hill, and The Office are all new and back in my life. I've also been netflixing My Name is Earl...amazing show. But it's time to get ready for the new Indiana Jones movie. I always loved how Indiana was in his name. I feel special.
Little 500 was this weekend. Solid b+ weekend. points taken away for one of my friends having a meltdown outside of bennys. but other than that, i had a BLAST. played in the alumni game, got real drunk, creeped on some freshman. woke up on monday and decided that those kind of weekends should be left for the young and in shape. i feel like i was beat with a sockful of nickles.
it's so nice out. makes me want to run and run and run. and when i have time, i do. i run until my lungs burn, my legs ache, and until the music in my ears drown out my thoughts of los angeles, being a failure, and having a mediocre life.
