Siiiiigh. Oh MSN.com horoscope, you know me so well. I know people out there think stuff like that is a bunch of "boohockey" (name the friends character)...but reading things like always put me at ease. thinking my destiny will come when its ready. the issue that is overwhelming me is my desire to write for a living. when will that start? and i'm applying for this fellowship WHILE trying to create my own TV show. i need to focus on one thing at a time. so today, i'm just gonna finish the outline for the How I Met Your Mother episode. and maybe write some dialogue. calm down, jenna. one thing at a time...

maura is leaving to go to grad school. raj is going to be our new editorial director, which means i'll be working with him. which means i quit. i'm so depressed here. at least it gives me time to work on my material.

Today might be a bit difficult for you, dear Leo, because you are not likely to be as productive as you normally are. You won't have much to say, and you will feel sleepy and in a somewhat grumpy mood. In other words, it is the perfect day to go back to bed with that novel you're reading. Take a nap, or take several naps, and follow your desire to do as little as possible. There will be plenty of time to catch up on your work later . . .

oh ok...i'll take a nap. too bad i have a real job. siiiiiiiiiiigh. i would SO NAP this day away. "somewhat grumpy"? how about, if anyone from work talks to me other than the people i like, i'm probably gonna punch you in the neck.

punta cana in 3 weeks. Which mean I can't eat for 3 weeks if i'm going to look remotely good in a bathing suit. I NEED A NEW BATHING SUIT! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

There is a conflicting push and pull aspect at play, dear Leo, which may leave you feeling a bit unsure of how to proceed. Right on. I just read this out loud to my editor and she laughed and yells "I TOLD YOU SO!" she thinks i should make some kind of forward progress with the guy i like. it's complicated, damnit. i don't wanna overstep a boundary or make him uncomfortable with flirting. she thinks harmless, subtle flirting is fine. i'm not sure. 

i usually do listen to my heart. and it's gotten me pretty much nowhere. some good memories, and alot of heartache. wahhh wahhhhhh...i'm boring myself talking about this crap right now.

i'm officially done with my first year of grad school. ONE down, only TWO more to go. seems so far away, and i've probably done more work in the past year that i did in 4 years at SJC. at least my schedule will ease up alot. i had about 5 meltdowns this past school year with everything. most recently last friday. but anyGAY, i'm all done with year 1 and should come out with a pretty stellar GPA. i have a 4.0, but i wont after this semester. probably a 3.8, and only because RESEARCH METHODS was a joke.

well, back to pretending to work.

I'm in the field of publishing, yes. I'm already in a masters program, but screw it, lets go to law school. and as for a love from someone from far away, please PLEASE let it be John Krasinski. great, thanks. i will ENJOY that, good sir.

maybe on april 30th my horoscope will say "You're getting a call about that internship today. You're a finalist. Enjoy it." THAT would be awesome. also kind of creepy.
